Shipping to department stores and larger retailers can mean conforming to specific labeling requirements (such as GS1-128 labels with SSCC barcodes) and routing guides.
We'll work with you to make sure that your B2B orders are handled correctly.

B2B Small Package Shipment
B2B orders that are too large for one box are automatically split into multiple parcel shipments.
- Each box receives its own carton contents label on the outside and a label showing the box number.
- On our website, you can see the pack-level detail, which shows you which items were packed in each box. In the event a box is lost or damaged in transit, then you'll know what was in it.
- GS1-128 labels with the Serialized Shipping Container Code (SSCC) barcode can be added, tailored to specific retailer routing guides as necessary. (The old term for these labels was UCC labels, which stood for Universal Container Code.)
- A packing slip or invoice is attached to the outside of the first box in a "Packing Slip Enclosed" envelope.
- These orders are typically shipped via FedEx or UPS with tracking information for each box.

B2B Pallet Shipment
Larger shipments are generally packaged the same way as B2B small package shipments, but there are a few differences.
- Shipments are palletized on industry-standard pallets and stretch wrapped.
- They ship via motor freight you schedule, or we can schedule a pickup for you.
- Shipvine can generate a bill of lading, or you can provide one.
- Generally, there is only one PRO number (which is like a tracking number) for the entire shipment.
Routing Guides
We can follow your vendor routing guides so that your shipment arrives correctly avoiding most chargebacks.
Custom Hangtags
If you need RFID hangtags, labels, or bags for your department store orders, we can now print those in house, saving you time and hassle.
